What is Hope In Him Ministries?

Hope In Him Ministries exists to bring hope to congregations, individuals, and families for recovery from addictions, compulsions, obsessions, and life-dominating issues through sharing of personal testimony and experience. Through presentations, the aim is to proclaim the message that the only true hope for recovery is found in our Savior, Jesus Christ, and that continued growth is found in study of His Word to us, the Bible.

Who can benefit from Hope In Him presentations?

• Pastors wishing to initiate or establish support in their congregation or community for those suffering from life-dominating, dependency, or compulsive behavior issues.
• Individuals who are struggling with life-dominating issues such as alcoholism, chemical dependency, sexual addictions, eating disorders, and compulsive behaviors.
• Family members and friends whose lives are affected by loved ones suffering from life-dominating issues.
• Groups needing a better understanding of what these issues are, how they affect others, and what to do when confronted with these issues.

The body of Christ needs to edify, encourage, help, educate, and equip each other so that we can minister to one another in addressing these issues. Sadly, some Christians feel that they should be permanently immune to such afflictions. Christians who are struggling with addictions often try to keep their problem hidden either out of guilt, shame, or fear of condemnation from others. The good news is that the God of the Bible gives mercy to draw us to His full offer of forgiveness, adoption, eternal life, and daily spiritual enablement in Christ.
